The Money Management Institute (MMI) is pleased to announce that Joel Schiffman has joined the organization as Executive Vice President, Director of MMI Thrive.

In this newly created role, Joel will lead MMI Thrive, a strategic initiative focused on supporting and advancing the growth of emerging asset managers. He will report directly to MMI President & CEO Craig Pfeiffer and work closely with the Member Services and Thrive teams, including Arlen Oransky, Robbie Cannon, and Ken Bossen.

Joel joins MMI with accomplished leadership experience across the asset and wealth management industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at BidMoni, a retirement-focused fintech firm, and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Instinct Digital. His previous roles include senior positions at Schroder Investment Management, Janus Henderson Investors, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, and Lord Abbett & Co.

A long-time MMI member, Joel also served on the MMI Board of Governors while at Schroders. He holds a BA in Economics from UCLA and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA^®) designation.
