The Money Management Institute (MMI) has announced that Kate Burke, Chief Executive Officer of Allspring Global Investments, has been awarded its prestigious Industry Leadership Award. The official recognition will take place during the 2025 MMI Annual Conference on October 16 in Washington, DC.

This recognition, previously known as the Pioneer Award, honors individuals who inspire those around them to reach new heights. Kate was selected by the MMI Board of Governors from a list of outstanding nominees, recognizing her for visionary leadership and inspiring accomplishments across the financial services industry.

Kate has more than two decades of leadership in varied roles within the asset management industry. Prior to joining Allspring, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at AllianceBernstein. Before that, she was Head of Bernstein Private Wealth and Chief Administration Officer. She has also served as Head of Human Capital and Chief Talent Officer.
