Overview

Chair:
Robbie Cannon, Head, MMI EAM Thrive Initiative, Money Management Institute

Join us for the 2024 MMI Emerging Asset Managers Forum powered by Thrive, MMI’s exciting new destination for emerging asset managers.

Anti-Fragile [ an-tee-fraj-uhl ] adjective:
Becoming more robust when exposed to stressors, uncertainty, or risk.
“We've made the structure sturdy and antifragile, so bad weather makes it stronger.”

Every asset manager is exposed to industry pressure points like fee compression, the regulatory environment, marketing constraints, capital allocation decisions, vendor management, and many others. But emerging asset managers are particularly vulnerable. This unique event is geared toward senior executives at asset management firms with less than $25 billion in intermediary advisory assets. The Forum focuses on the pressures that the financial services industry applies to emerging managers and provides strategies that they can use to learn, adapt, and compete. We will explore critical success factors, including flexibility, alignment of key staff, decision-making, and evaluation of industry trends.

PLUS, attendees will:

  • Participate in a series of small-group roundtable discussions with top gatekeepers from the wirehouse, national, TAMP, and other distribution channels.
  • Learn more about Thrive, MMI’s exciting new initiative to help emerging asset managers share connections, industry insights, and best practices.

Space is limited and will be spoken for quickly. Attendance is limited to two participants per firm.
