DESCRIPTION

Overview
Using discretion and judgment, the Senior Accountant works independently to manage and prepare financial reporting and analysis to support the International Distribution Platform. Primary responsibilities include the coordination, preparation and review of the following activities: monthly accounting close, budget and forecast related reporting, and quarterly management reporting.

Responsibilities
• Performs the monthly accounting close and review process. Produces management reporting, investigates variances, and prepares various schedules in support of the close. Reports monthly results with variance analysis to management as requested. Assists with other central controllers on monthly consolidations.
• Works with and handles third party accounting relationships while providing support and accounting oversight over the business development units in Latin America and Spain.
• Responsible for coordinating with US Affiliates on various accounting matters including calculation of distribution fee invoicing for Natixis Investment Managers International and facilitating review with senior management.
• Assists in preparation of the annual budget and forecasting activities to assist in the budget process.
• Helps coordinate the review and preparation of local tax and regulatory filings with third party accountants in accordance with local requirements.
• Prepares quarterly and ad hoc management reporting.
• Handles Accounts Payable processing and resolution of vendor queries for the US Entity 8. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
