Head of Sales Enablement and Learning

The Head of Sales Enablement and Learning at Hartford Funds will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales enablement program. It will include defining and evolving our sales process and methodology, delivering relevant training programs, providing targeted coaching, optimizing sales resources, and working directly with sales leadership to address knowledge/process gaps.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales leadership to develop, execute, optimize and assess a comprehensive sales enablement program
- Determine sales enablement priorities with key sales stakeholders
- Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to all stakeholders
- Build a trusted relationship with sales professionals
- Provide effective onboarding and training programs for sales professionals
- Deliver personalized coaching
- Coordinate educational content for ongoing training
- Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing and product teams
- Facilitate content creation and use with sales and marketing teams
- Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy
- Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
- Leverage technology to make training programs more accessible
- Home office presence each month is required
Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten years industry related experience
- Sales experience in financial services industry
- A highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts and proposals
- A high energy, results oriented and resourceful leader who is capable of quickly taking control of his/her responsibilities and establishing himself/herself as a trusted, credible strategic partner
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced and complex work environment
- Capability to develop a “big picture” perspective and act as a strategic thinker
- Able to effectively leverage strong foundation of business knowledge in daily execution
