The MMI Impact Awards honor MMI member firms* that have gone above and beyond to exemplify the values that drive MMI's membership.
The award winners are selected through an internal MMI review that evaluates firms’ engagement across MMI’s Values of Participating with Intent, Solving Together, and Thinking Forward. The MMI member firms recognized have demonstrated this through attending conferences, participating in professional development programs and communities, taking on leadership roles in planning committees and as speakers, and more.
* All MMI member firms are automatically eligible.

This award is presented to an asset or wealth manager firm that has been a member for more than three years in recognition of its embodiment of MMI’s Values.
THE PRESIDENT'S AWARDS
This award is presented to an asset or wealth manager firm that has been a member for less than three years in recognition of its embodiment of MMI’s Values.
THE GOVERNOR'S AWARD
Open to Solutions Providers
This award is presented to a solutions provider firm in recognition of its embodiment of the values that drive MMI’s membership.
THRIVE FIRM AWARD
Open to Solutions Providers
This award recognizes a Thrive for Emerging Asset Managers firm for their embodiment of the values that drive the MMI membership.
Key Dates and Selection Process
Ongoing – based on active engagement with MMI across a broad range of activities and initiatives.
- Attend various Conferences & Events throughout the year
- Participate on Conference & Event Planning Committees or as co-chair
- Expand Conference & Event engagement through sponsorship opportunities
- Provide industry expertise by speaking at Conferences & Events
- Participate in multiple MMI Communities
- Participate in MMI’s professional development programs: Executive IQ, Leadership Pathway, and MMI Academy
- Participate in MMI’s research initiatives by completing the Broadridge Survey
- Submit a nomination for the MMI/Barron’s Industry Awards
- Volunteer to mentor a Leadership Pathway program participant
- Advise new members on how to navigate MMI, suggest expansion efforts for MMI, and be a consistent advocate and resource for MMI
- January: Membership impact is reviewed by the MMI Team – using qualitative and quantitative approaches
- February: Winners presented to the MMI Executive Committee for approval
- March: Winners announced at the MMI Summit
