This event, supporting the Gateway Foundation by Money Management Institute, includes a day and evening of entertainment at the iconic Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this championship course was the host of numerous prestigious PGA events including the Ryder Cup and Barclay's golf tournaments, and notably the USGA's 122nd U.S. Amateur Championship.

This special day is focused on supporting our Opening Doors efforts and expanding the Gateway Foundation's reach through its strategic initiatives; Financial literacy – supporting strong foundations; Industry Awareness – creating more diverse pipelines; and Performance and Professional Development – cultivating future leaders.   

What to expect
Throughout the day you will hit the driving range, play a round of golf, and end this exceptional day with dinner and cocktails while interacting with industry colleagues and friends.

Jimmy Roberts

Broadcaster | NBC & Golf Channel

Mr. Roberts is a 13-time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and writer known most recently for his work on NBC and the Golf Channel as an essayist, interviewer, feature reporter and studio host, covering the PGA tour and such high-profile events as the Ryder Cup. He has also been a feature reporter at the Olympic Games for NBC and often serves as a weekend NBC sports desk host. “Jimmy Roberts has always been a wonderful storyteller, touching the hearts and challenging the minds of viewers,” said legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus.

In 2009, Harper Collins published Mr. Roberts’ first book, Breaking the Slump, which deals with how some of the best golfers to ever play the game – as well as one former president and one Olympic gold medalist – dug themselves out of career-threatening dry spells. The book was critically praised in Newsweek, the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Sports Illustrated. Mr. Roberts also serves as the voice of Masters.com, the website chronicling what happens on golf’s biggest stage each year. Over a career that spans more than 30 years in broadcasting and journalism, he has earned numerous distinctions, including a Golf Writers Association of America award and Emmy awards for writing, best feature, journalism, and individual achievement. Mr. Roberts earned a BA from the University of Maryland in 1979.
