Overview
Get ready for a high impact and highly experiential residency that will be delivered over two-and-a-half days from the Darden Grounds of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to carry out independent group research to devise an innovative solution for a real-world industry problem. Participants will leverage this experience to launch their capstone innovation project.

Darden-in-Residence II will be held at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, VA from February 4-6. Located on the Darden Grounds, within a five-acre arboretum with global botanical gardens, The Forum Hotel — operated by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants — offers opportunities to connect, reflect and learn together throughout the boutique property and captures the essence of the beautiful city of Charlottesville.

Travel Information
Arrival Date: Participants should arrive in Charlottesville, Virginia the afternoon of Monday, February 3. There are taxis available at the airport as well as UBER and LYFT.
Check-out Date: Participants can check out the morning of Thursday, February 6 and store their luggage at the hotel front desk. Class will end at 11:00 AM and participants will be taken to the airport. Plane tickets should be booked from 12:30 PM onwards.
Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO) is 8 miles north of Charlottesville, in Albemarle County, Virginia with non-stop flights to six major cities on three airlines' subsidiaries including American Airlines, Delta, and United Airlines:
- American Airlines flies daily from Charlottesville to Chicago, New York LaGuardia, Charlotte, and Philadelphia.
- Delta Airlines flies daily from Charlottesville to New York LaGuardia and Atlanta.
- United Airlines flies daily to Chicago O’Hare and Washington Dulles.
