MMI Annual Conference Update – Virtual Event Starts in October

2020 has been a year like no other – and this year’s Annual Conference will be unlike any MMI event you’ve ever attended.

For all the obvious reasons, MMI has made the decision to host this year’s event virtually. Like you, we will miss the excitement and collegiality of getting together in person, but we’re leaning into our conference theme of Embracing Waves of Change.

MMI-Cerulli Q1 2020 Advisory Solutions Data Available

MMI and Cerulli Associates announce the release of the Q1 2020 edition of Advisory Solutions Quarterly, which provides statistics on the managed accounts industry as of March 31, 2020. Assets in managed accounts fell 13% during the quarter to $6.46 trillion, as the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic upended the economy and the markets. AUM gains from 2019 were completely wiped out, driving industry assets to their lowest levels since the end of 2018 ($6.0 trillion).

New MMI-Aon Research – Harnessing Generational Differences Across the Financial Planning Process

Advisors believe that they hold regular financial planning conversations with their clients, but less than half of clients (44%) agree.
