MMI’s mission is to help member firms – and, by extension, the advisory solutions industry – to Connect, Know and Grow. Our strategic business plan, key initiatives and major activities are all carefully aligned and tracked to this objective.
Early this year, we reached out to members to gauge how well we are doing in each area and which services and initiatives we should focus on to enhance the value of your membership. That outreach included a broad ranging survey, conducted both online and in hard copy, as well as comprehensive phone interviews with a cross section of MMI members.
We thank everyone who took the time to participate in this effort and provide their candid feedback. Overall, the findings confirmed that members assign significant value to their MMI membership and are supportive of the range of activities and programs we undertake on their behalf. The survey also elicited many helpful suggestions that we are moving quickly to implement – along with others that will guide our longer-term business planning and allocation of resources.
The enclosed Mid-Year Report summarizes many of our undertakings and accomplishments during the first half of 2014 and highlights areas of focus for the remainder of the year.
