Position Summary:
You will work closely with prestigious financial services organizations to deliver a superior and impactful membership experience, facilitate world class events, and promote industry education and best practices. Your initiative and determination to assume responsibility and skills necessary to execute tasks -- both independently and collaboratively -- will build your financial acumen in an exciting and dynamic environment. The overall goal of the position is to help cultivate the continuous enhancement of membership initiatives for MMI members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client facing meetings to discuss MMI’s initiatives
  • Engage in problem solving through critical questioning and analyzing practices that impact the member experience
  • Ability to contribute to best-in-class service to members via phone calls and website inquiries
  • Drive to resolve member client services issues
  • Support member on-boarding and renewal process
  • Maintain accurate and complete data and assist with member analytics
  • Support special member acquisition and retention projects and programs
  • Provide administration support to the Membership team including execution of special projects
  • Contribute to content and speaker engagement analysis for events
  • Complete ad hoc requests for research and data, and support other MMI initiatives
  • Identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of financial services preferred with 1-3 years’ experience
  • Client facing experience and presentation skills
  • High level project management and organizational skills executing projects on a timely basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter that works independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and knows when to escalate issues to manager
  • Strong attention to quality and detail with ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • High degree of personal initiative and accountability
  • Ability and willingness to travel on a limited basis

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related major
  • Project management experience
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
