As part of our collective effort to promote diversity and inclusion in the industry, the Gateway Foundation offers programs to welcome, prepare, and advance underrepresented talent within financial services. MMI member firms can access customized support from the foundation to enhance their DEI efforts.
Opening Doors: Gateway’s Strategic Campaigns
The Gateway Foundation offers industry awareness and preparation programs, professional development for mid-career professionals, and financial literacy programs to underserved communities. Through the foundation, firms gain access to:
- Recruitment channels that work with underrepresented talent and promote a more inclusive workplace. Additionally, the foundation can assist in identifying recruitment channels based on the priorities of our member firms. We connect firms seeking:
- Internship and entry-level talent
- Mid-career level talent
- A more diverse audience for your firm's professional development opportunities. The foundation can communicate your opportunities for professional development, internships, jobs, and sponsorships to underrepresented talent.
- A partnership that facilitates a relationship between the financial services industry and underserved communities. Through its operational model, the foundation provides educational resources to underserved high schools and Black adult women, as well as opportunities to engage with a network of HBCU alumni.
Becoming a Gateway sponsor represents a unique opportunity to tie in your corporate citizenship initiatives, expand your DEI brand awareness, make new connections, and showcase your firm’s offerings. We work closely with you to tailor a customized engagement with the foundation. Your firm can become a broad Gateway sponsor or engage with an initiative that aligns directly with your organization’s DEI priorities.
