Program Overview
MMI’s Leadership Pathway program is designed to recognize and support talented, motivated members of the next generation. Through MMI activities, participants learn from industry experts and network with peers. The program’s goal is to develop the leadership and collaboration skills that will enable participants to assume increasing levels of responsibility and actively contribute to addressing critical industry issues and opportunities. Following remarks from the event’s co-chairs, a panel of current Leadership Pathway participants and a member of the program's task force will discuss the program’s mission and benefits, and lessons from its first year of operations.

MMI’s Pioneer Award honors individuals who embody MMI’s mission to serve as advocates and catalysts for the growth of the advisory solutions and wealth management industry. This panel will feature two past Pioneer Award winners and two Leadership Pathway participants offering their unique perspectives on career and leadership development in advisory solutions. It’s a tale of different generations – baby boomers describing how they got to the top and younger professionals describing how they intend to chart their own course.

Among the topics the panel will explore are robo advisors, Big Data, and blockchain technology.
