Projected in an exclusive MMI member survey to grow by 14%–16% per year over the next five years, liquid alternative investments represent a significant educational challenge for financial advisors and a massive one for their clients. A flood of new alternative products have entered the marketplace over the last few years, but the industry’s assimilation process has been haltingly slow. This one-day executive forum brings together leaders from the advisory solutions and alternative investments communities to explore why this is the case and what is being done now—and what must be done going forward—to move toward broader adoption and use of alternatives and a full realization of the opportunities they represent.
